35 Days Left Until the Deadline For SIM Card Registration

46 million SIM cards have been registered since the start date of registration back in December 2022.

All mobile subscribers are now required to register their SIM cards until April 26, 2023, (which is 35 days from today) and there is a possibility that the deadline may be extended for another 120 days.

It is important to note that failure to register your SIM card before the deadline may result in your mobile service being deactivated. It is recommended to register your SIM card as soon as possible to avoid any inconvenience.

It is required by law to register all SIM cards with a valid government-issued ID to prevent using unregistered SIM cards for illegal activities such as terrorism, fraud, and other criminal activities.

To register your SIM card IN PERSON, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Prepare your valid government-issued ids, such as a passport, driver's license, postal ID, or voter's ID.

  2. Go to the nearest service center or an authorized retailer of your mobile network provider (Globe, Smart, or Sun).

  3. Present your ID to the personnel and fill out the registration form.

  4. Wait for the personnel to process your registration.

  5. Once your SIM card is registered, you will receive a confirmation message from your network provider.

To register your SIM card ONLINE, click on the link for the steps:

Failure to register your SIM card within the prescribed period may result in the disconnection of your mobile service. Also, one ID can only be used to write a maximum of three SIM cards.
